PREFACE:
The Operator’s manual has been written for the machine operator. It contains:
- the technical data.
- the safety requirements.
- the operating instructions.
- the maintenance schedule as information.
The Operator’s manual helps familiarization with the machine and helps to operate the machine safely and correctly. The Operator’s manual must be read and understood by any person putting the machine into operation and operating the machine. Work with the machine includes, for example:
- Operation including the start of the machine for normal operation and operation of the machine in compliance with its intended use.
- Walk-around inspection of the machine before each shift.
- Maintenance schedule as information. Acquire the knowledge of the last and next maintenance operations.
- Transportation of machine sub-assemblies as information. Respecting the operating instructions:
- Contributes to reduce dangers to the health and safety of the machine operator, and the jobsite personnel.
- Increases reliability in use.
The Operator’s manual belongs to the machine for the full lifetime of the machine. Place a copy in an easily reachable position within the operator cab. This copy must be replaced immediately if lost, damaged or unreadable. In addition to the operating instructions contained in this manual, any applicable national, regional or local regulation for accident prevention and protection may also have to be obeyed.
- In addition to the operating instructions and legally binding regulations on accident prevention which apply in the user country and at point of use, authorized specialist and/or jobsite specific rules for safe and correct working procedures may also have to be observed. The Operator’s manual contain all the information required for operating your machine.
- Illustrations in this manual may show a machine in a configuration which differs from the configuration of your machine. In some illustrations, protective devices and covers have been removed for better clarity. All information, illustrations and specifications contained in this manual are based on the latest product information available at the time of publication. For any further explanation or information, please contact your Liebherr representative.
